Why Is There A Need For A Facebook Page
By Martha Christie
Don’t be surprised if we hear a major announcement sometime during this year to tell us that Facebook has surpassed the 1 billion number in terms of its user base. Considering that half a dozen years ago this platform didn’t even exist and is an idea that was essentially dreamed up in a college dorm room, this is quite amazing. Survey says that 3 out of 4 people in the United States have a Facebook to communicate with their friends, family and acquaintances. Almost 50% of the important demographic 18 to 34-year-olds use Facebook to get all their news. It is, in turn, becoming an essential part of life for a huge segment of the entire population.
If you think that Facebook page would be critical for your business, then you still have other ways on how to find your advertisement possible. Whilst the site itself is, despite its massive size, still maturing and developing, it is very important that each and every business has its own focused page and strives to keep in touch with existing clients and reach prospects through this site.
To those who still do not have a Facebook Page, why not try to have one? To be in the fashion or to keep you updated also. In the Facebook Page has its own certain limitation. It is only limited to your peer groups. It has also different limitation in terms of coming up with a business page. If you want your page to be unique, you can actually create your image to make it as part of your brand.

Facebook can be helpful to you. It can capture leads and display specific branded messages/ So, if you want to uplift your business, use specific tools and resources to include HTML coding. This will help you enhance your own design as well. Remember that competition is really tough nowadays. There are several groups that will also be related to your product and service that you are offering in the market.
In order for your business to flourish, you can use the Facebook Page to keep in touch with your prospects and customers. This will be made possible by updating them with the latest news and information about your company as well as industry related discussions. Once a page is created you have to remember that it’s like a living, breathing thing and you shouldn’t just leave it until you remember that it hasn’t been updated for a long time.
It’s not that difficult to set up the bare-bones of a business page on Facebook. However, if you opt to have a unique and branded page, better call a virtual assistant, he can help you with this. The VA can be engaged to update the page on a daily basis with relevant business news and insights. Google has something to do with this. It can be an additional way of driving on other search engines and it might also result to traffic as well.

What Is Link Building
If you have started a Internet home business‘ link building is one of the most important parts of making your business earn extra cash. It is marketing in its most basic form since it lets others know about your new site .It is great that you have a new site but without a little work you will not have any visitors.
The link building definition is building up a list of back links. It is the process where you gather together all your back links and put them to work. Back links are what are doing the actual work to get your website traffic.
People generally do not go to the very high pages when doing a search. They will google something and often find what they are looking for within the first few pages. So if your website is not on those first few pages, it is not seeing many visitors.
So the goal link building and back links is to get your website as close to page one as you can manage. The closer you are to top, the more traffic you will get and the more chances there are for you to earn money off your site.
That is the link building definition, but even knowing what it all is and what it does, you may not know how to implement it to its fullest potential. If you do not know how exactly you go about setting up your back links then they still are not doing you any good.
There are three main tips to keep in mind when setting up your back links. They are not the be all end all of link building but they are the basics and can help you get on your feet.
1: Get relevant back links. If you get back links that have nothing to do with your website they will not contribute to your page rank. If they are not helping you get to page one then they are not doing anything at all, and are completely worthless. So make sure you only use links related to your site.
2: Try to get links from high ranked websites. If you manage to get back links from those sites you saw on the first few pages, this will greatly help your own rank. Links from those sites carry a higher value then links from other sites. SEO looks at the URL in the link and piggy backs some of that site’s popularity onto your site because of it.
3: Get lots and lots of links. Quantity is just as important as quality. If you have good links they will be outclassed by other sites that have good links, but also have a lot of them. So make sure you get as many back links as you possibly can.
With this link building definition and tips you can be well on your way to making your Internet home business a success.

Ideas To Help Your Article Marketing Efforts
Recently I posted how I was getting back to work on my internet marketing business and that article marketing again was one of my top goals. I then received several messages from other people asking me how do I find topics to write about.
I’ll be the first to admit that writing does not come naturally to me and that many times I draw a complete blank on what to write about. When this happens to me there are a few things that I can do to find fresh ideas. These tips will work for you as well. Below are some good places to find interesting and fresh article content.
*Blogs – Blogs are a great place to find ideas for your article as many different things are discussed on blogs. People share their opinions, ideas, experiences and questions. Many of my blog posts and articles are from information I read on other blogs.
*Read through your email – Take note of what people are asking you about and what they are most concerned with. Keep a file on hand and record all questions that can be used to create a powerful article.
*Subscribe to ezines – Ezines can be a goldmine of information and ideas. They allow you to keep up to date on the latest products, programs, biz opps, etc. Some of this information can make great articles.
*Do a survey – Write a two or three question survey and send it out to associates or discussion group members or better yet, your subscribers. Give your readers the information and news they are looking for.
For example: What questions do you have about Internet marketing? What resources do you need that you cannot find? Questions like this could give you some innovative article ideas.
*Read other articles – Similar to reading other blogs By reading other articles, you can come up with an unusual twist or angle for an overused idea. It sometimes helps to get different views and insights on the same old idea. NOTE: Never copy information or content from an article, ezine, or website.
Always keep an open mind and eye out for article ideas. After awhile you will begin to se ideas automatically all over the net. Keep a notebook handy and when you think of an idea write it down in your notebook. I tend to think of ideas while lying awake in the middle of the night. I learned right away that if I don’t write them down, they are totally gone by morning.
And remember, people want and need basic, straight forward, helpful information. They do not want or need college words, fancy story lines or over-dramatized articles.
Article marketing is one of the best methods online. Don’t let a little doubt stop you from making this big step towards success!

The Best Part Of Internet Marketing- Freedom
For those who follow this blog may have noticed I have a little lately. I have not made many posts for the past free months and a few people even asked me if I was still in the business.
Well I am of course still in the business I just have been enjoying the best part of internet marketing- the freedom. The freedom to take time off or to work non stop at growing your business.
Every year for various reasons I tend to walk away from the computer for a few months. I find that I need to spend time with the family, get caught up on a few television shows and basically forget about building backlinks, increasing my SEO and all the other parts of having a website.
What makes this possible is that even though I am not working on my sites they still get traffic and still make sales. While my traffic does drop a little it does remain somewhat consistent.
It is very exciting knowing that I can take a few months away from computer and still make the occasional sale. It is why I got into internet marketing in the first place and why I will continue.
So now I am fully refreshed and ready to get back to business. It is time to start posting and writing articles and helping others start their own Internet home business.

You Need A To Have A Link Building Strategy
Do you have a plan with your link building goal or like most internet marketers are you just simply building links hoping for the best. Without understanding why you are link building, it is impossible to develop a strategy that will achieve the results you desire. There are basically three reasons to build back links to your website. They are to improve their rankings, increase traffic, and increase their conversions. In order to achieve these goals, different strategies need to be utilized. Without deciding exactly what you want to gain from your back linking strategy, it will be difficult to get the best results for your website. Here’s a quick look at all three goals and how to create a process to achieve them
The most commonly discussed reason for building links to your website is to improve your search engine rankings. In order to create an effective strategy, it is important to define what results you will be satisfied with. If you are attacking a hyper-competitive keyword then you may want to start out by aiming for a first page placing. From there you can further refine your efforts to get into the top five rankings, top three rankings, and finally the top spot on Google. In general, it is much easier to move onto the first page then it is to move from spot number three to spot number two. The higher up in the rankings you get, the more difficult it is to improve your position. By first defining what result you will be happy with, it will be easier to create the right strategy.

Another thing to keep in mind is that if you aren’t careful, your browser personalization settings could affect where your website appears for you. Essentially, your own website will appear higher for your own searches than for other people’s. This can be extremely frustrating if you believe you have a high ranking, but aren’t getting the traffic that you expected – only to find out that you were not actually ranking that highly.
The second reason why people build links back to their website is to increase traffic. Is important to understand the back links can generate traffic in a variety of different ways, outside of your search engine rankings. For example, signature links and forum profiles can generate a lot of traffic if you are active in the forum and well regarded as a trustworthy member. At the same time, these links may have a negligible effect on your search engine rankings. If you are looking to gain traffic directly from your back link then it is important to ensure that your building back links in areas relevant to your websites topic. If not, then it doesn’t matter how well regarded you are on a forum when your website doesn’t cover a topic which other members would be interested in.
The final reason why people develop link building campaigns is to increase their conversion rate. In order to do this, you must develop a strategy which will provide you with highly targeted traffic. Again, relevancy becomes an important issue. Along with relevancy, you should also focus on building back links in areas where they will be seen not only by people interested in your topic, those who are ready to take action in some way.
Building back links without a plan may provide some benefits, however there is little chance that you would achieve the best results for your needs. It is important to create a clear objective that you wish to achieve and develop a back link strategy that provides you with the best chance of finding success.

The Time to Start Video Marketing is Now
Video marketing has proven to be a very effective way to expand your brand and promote your website online. This is true whether you are creating a small affiliate site or are setting up a website for your small business. The biggest barrier that seems to exist isn’t a lack of desire to create videos, but rather a general fear of doing so. The benefits of video marketing have become even more crystallized over the past several years and there is little chance that video will become less important in the future. Here are a few things to think about when deciding whether or not to finally take the plunge and start video marketing.
The first thing to realize is that the people watching your videos are going to know whether or not you are an amateur or a professional. In the end, this doesn’t really matter. Most people don’t expect to go onto YouTube and find thousands of professionally created videos. They expect to find home videos and amateur videos. Just because your online video doesn’t look like a professional movie trailer, it doesn’t diminish its value at all. In fact, some of the most successful business related videos are little more than someone sitting in front of their computer, with poor lighting, and just talking. There’s no need to waste a lot of time learning how complicated video editing software works in order to add splash effects and graphics. All you need to do is know how to record a video, do a few simple edits if need be, and publish it.
Here’s another way to think about it. Do you have to be a professional writer in order to start a blog? Absolutely not. The same is true for video marketing. Every skill has first to be learned and it is only by going through the process of learning about it and actually doing it can a skill becomes more refined. If anything, this should be a motivation to start video marketing today, because it means that six months or a year from now you are going to be infinitely better at it than you are right now.
Video marketing has proven to be uniquely beneficial for a number of reasons. The biggest reason is that it allows you access to a source of traffic that is unique. If you create a two-minute video that someone watches and they then click over to your website, they are already invested in what you are trying to tell them. As a result, they have pre-qualified themselves in a way that is difficult to replicate elsewhere.
Another benefit is that it allows you to capture the attention of people who otherwise would ignore your message. People tend to learn in different ways and naturally choose mediums that they are comfortable with. If your website visitors prefer not to read your text, then video is a great way to bridge the gap. This not only pulls more people onto your website, but also improves their user experience once they are there. As a result, they will stay on your website longer, are more likely to share your website with others, and will be more likely to spend money with you.

Start 2012 With A New Home Based Business
It is that time of year again. Time to reflect on what we have accomplished and what we what to accomplish in the new year.
If starting a new home based business is something that you have been thinking of doing but have been putting off the new year is the perfect time to start. You can begin your new business with very little investment and start the learning process during the winter months when you and many potential customers are inside avoiding the cold whether.
Many people have the desire to start a new home based business but have no idea where to start. If you are one of these people and need a helping hand here is how I got started almost four years ago.
Step 1- The first thing I did to get my business started was join Plug In Profit. You will get your very own website set up and loaded with several different affiliate programs ready to promote.
What do I like about Plug In Profits? Your own website ready to go in a matter of days. It is not a
affiliate website but your own site that you can do whatever you want to. You can change it, add
and delete programs, it is your site you can do with it what you wish. In fact this site was at one
time a Plug In Profit site that I have changed many times over the years to make it more of my
own. You can see what your new Plug In Profit site will look like here
There is also very good training that comes with your site and a supportive forum to help you
with questions.
What don’t I like about Plug In Profits ? – There are a number of things that you need to be
aware of before joining. First off you do not need to join every program in fact I recommend
only joining the free programs and only ONE paid program ( if your budget allows otherwise
just start out with the free programs plus the hosting $9.95 per month) For the one paid program
I recommend click here. Remember… All that is necessary at first is the hosting and you can
join other programs down the road as your budget allows.
The recommended programs tend to change quite often. This can be a little confusing at first
but as you learn to promote your business you will learn to promote yourself more than PIPS
and eventually you will learn to make money by yourself not through Plug In Profits.
The other big issue is the training itself. Stone Evens is by nature a affiliate marketer so each
of his training lessons tend to be promoting some kind of additional purchase. I can not fault
him for this. He has built a top notch website free of charge for you so he does need to make his
money on the back end. Just be aware of it and realize that most if not all of the additional
purchases are not necessary.

Step 2- Additional training- This is a big one and one of the best decisions I have made with my home based business. I searched out and found additional unbiased help from successful affiliate marketers. The ones that have been the most help to me were The Affiliate Power Group.
What do I like about Affiliate Power Group?- One on one personal mentors. Post your questions
in the forum and one of the mentors will guide you through your issues. Plenty of free downloads
and PLR articles that make the monthly expense worth it.
What don’t I like about Affiliate Power Group?- It can be a little expensive and unless you budget
for it, plan on using all the benefits and are willing to learn to slowly grow your business using
proven techniques it will not be for you. They do have a special trial offer for only $1 so you can
look around before signing up. Click Here for the trial offer

So that is basically what I have done to get started with my home based business. I started out with a Plug In Profit site and joined Affiliate Power Group.
Of course I have joined several different programs since then and left most, I have made a few mistakes along the way but all in all not to many.
If your plan for 2012 is to start your own Home Based Business I hope this helps. If you have any questions post them here and I will help the best that I can..Good Luck in the new year.

Plug-In Profit Now Using Host Then Profit For Hosting
I have been a member of Plug In Profits for almost four years now. Over that time there has been many changes. So many in fact I can not even begin to name them.
Even the hosting companies have changed a number of times. A few months back Stone Evans even offered FREE hosting for all new Plug In Profits sites. At first I thought this was a great idea. Members would now get a free website and free hosting . I figured it would be a breeze to promote and people would sign up for free websites like crazy.
( you can see a new Plug In Profit Site here)
There was one major drawback with this business model. No commissions, people sign up for a free site with free hosting and then only signed up for the free programs. I soon stopped promoting Plug In Profits altogether.
I found Host Then Profit and all that it offers by accident and soon began to fully promote it and even moved a few of my sites to there hosting service and a short time latter Stone also found it and added it to the Plug In Profits affiliate programs.

Now Stone has announced that Plug In Profits will now use Host Then Profit as its hosting service for all new sites. I could not be happier!! HTP is a excellent program that offers many services ( you can read my full Host Then Profit review here). The $9.95 a month fee more than covers all that comes with using the service.
Host Then Profit is a excellent addition to Plug In Profits and if you have not yet added it to your affiliate programs I highly recommend you do. Join Here
If you are looking for your own website loaded with your affiliate links ready to start making money, check out Plug In Profits
