The PIPS Power Group Summer Challenge -A Progress Report

If you are a member of Plug-In Profits and are struggling to make money then I highly recommend looking into the PIPS Power Group.

This is a group of some of the most successful PIPS members with the sole goal of making you successful in your Internet home business. They offer advice , down loads and personal mentoring designed specifically around your PIPS site.

For the past two years they also run the PIPS Power Group Summer Challenge. This is a contest designed to jump start our sites by having members become motivated to win a competition. To see whose site is most improved.

Through article marketing, forum posting, blog posting, and blog commenting the goal is to increase your over Alexa rating and the number of backlinks to your site. Two very important factors in determining your overall success.

Well today marks the two week mark of the start of PIPS Power Group Summer Challenge 2 and I thought I would post my progress report.

One of the goals is to increase your Alexa rating. Alexa rates your site on a number of factors overall traffic, time spent on the site etc.

So in the course of two weeks I have increased my rankings by simply following the information that is recommended by the mentors.

Sadly, no new information on building backlinks or Alexa ratings were provided. The information is was there all along but it took a silly contest to get me motivated.

That is what makes the Power Group so great. They realize that in the dog days of summer we all need a kick in the butt to get us motivated and they provide it for us.
