When most people begin in affiliate marketing they usually start off with great excitement thinking they will easily start to earn huge amounts of money working from home. When reality sets in that they are not going to earn what they thought they more then likely give up and blame the affiliate program.
What most people fail to realize is that most affiliate marketing programs are usually decent and if you properly market yourself and not the program you can make money.

Create a simple splash page and offer a free gift for people who give you their name and email address. Now you have a list of prospects to email information about your products.
Promote your splash page in the traffic exchanges, in your signature in online forums, and in your author bio in the article directories. As your list grows your prospects grows and so will your Internet home business.

Email marketing is really a wonderful way of marketing. I have also worked a lot with email marketing. My nature is bit of experimenting. I keep on doing a lot of experiments.
