A Honest Brain Host Review
Over the past few years I have used several different hosting companies and for the most part they are all about the same. Recently I started a small niche site and I decided to try a new hosting site. After a few weeks of using the site I figured it was time to write a Brain Host Review.
As I mentioned I use several different hosting sites. HostGator and Host Then Profit are two of the best hosting companies and I never have had a issue with either one. The one thing I have noticed over the years is there is really no major difference between the major services and Brain Host is no different.
You can compare site uptime guarantees, cPanels, unlimited domain hosting, unlimited e-mail accounts etc.. and what you find out is they are all about the same. Sure if I had a multi million dollar business with a web presence that brought in tens of thousands of dollars a month I may be concerned about the name of my hosting company. hanks for the overview on Brain Host. Signed up and now I can’t even get brain host to pick up the phone in customer service! Not your problem and no reply is necessary…just an FYI.

i signed with brainhost at 6/2011 , now its late of Oct. since 30 days now server went down every 30-45. we will move to another hosting service soon

I sisgned up for Brain Host for my Karaoke niche website hosting and all was fine at first but now two days later I can’t even see my website or connect to it through any browser and my Cpanel isn’t able to be accessed either. I have received response from their Customer support though and hopefully all will be fixed I am just frustrated because I have invested and am now having to wait to be able to benefit from the investment may have to change the hosting company if not resolved soon.
Same issue here, I have subscribed to BrainHost for 2 years since April,2011 It rarely occurs but think about it, what if I have a high traffic and my website is down, “It is a money loss”. I hope they could fix this soon and avoid any future inconvenience. By the way, it is down the time I’m writing this and I can’t access any website of mine.:(

brain host in my opion is the worst hosting ever i have had 50 hosting accounts there the worst

I am not familiar with the program. I know that Brain Host does offer many services and so far I have received many complaints about them on this blog. I have severed all ties and know longer promote them at all.

Brainhost=down time all the time, I’m sick and tired of it, I’m gonna transfer all my sites to another hosting company. Any suggestions? Anyone experience with Godaddy hosting?

All I can say is keep away from brainhost I have a domain and 2 addon domains and of the 3 only one site is up and running and even that one still has issues so frustrating get a site up and running only to find in a couple of days time its not running anymore

Wooooooooooooooooooooooosh. Thanks to this web page. I almost became a victim. I was about to make a payment until i decided to google for customer reviews on “Brainhost”. What an appalling services. Contacted them through online chat and the sales person did not know the price of a Dedicated IP address. I am really happy I stopped here and that I decided to carry out an online investigation on Brainhost. I would also be crying my ass out.
I was attempting to start a home based internet business and was told I needed to sign up with Brain Host for a web site. They required I pay for two years hosting in advance, and it was for 2 different sites, so it cost double the amount. I gave them the name I wanted, which was available, and trusted them to build it. Now I see someone else has my name that I was holding, and I have nothing. They have all just disappeared. As a widow, I now realize I was very foolish, as I spent a lot to try to start a business. And for what? NOTHING!!!! Most of all I was sorry to lose my name, where I had planned to advertise the book I am writing.Live and Learn!
I should have also stated that it was for an Affiliate Style web-site, where I would just post other people products and earn money on the clicks.
I signed with brainhost at the link and recommendation of my “business” link. $483 later and several days of attempting to link to brainhost, I cannot. The ONLY way I can reach them is responding to their emails telling me do this do that that NEVER work. Their site merely times out. They said I needed to use either google chrome or firefox as my browser. After creating google chrome browser, the results are the same. Brainhost fills my inbox with create this, submit that but I am unable to connect directly with anything brainhost.com. Their latest suggestion is that I use firefox. Would potential visitors to my website have the same difficulties that I do connecting? I’d bet they would. Their “support” sucks and only after requesting a refund did my website get created. This is most likely just an expensive scam and I feel like a fool for ever letting this go on for over a week.

Worst host ever, server crashing every time for 10-30 min every few hours.
Do not recommend this crap to anyone, they are cheap, but that’s what you get crap hosting. 80% uptime for my site, f##%ed up all my earnings, rank and subscribers

Brian Host is Brain Dead. The absolute worst hosting around. I just finished transferring all sites and Domains from these idiots.
My website crashed the first 60 days with them. They didn’t have a backup. I did. They couldn’t use my back-up. These guys are totally incompetent. My advice STAY AWAY from BRAIN HOST. If they were FREE I wouldn’t use em’.
Please report them to the BBB .I did.
