Will Bing Be Able To Top Google

Microsoft and Yahoo announced a partnership to better compete against Google. This has been brewing for some time and it remains to be seen if this new partnership will have any impact on the small Internet home business owner.

Microsoft recently introduced Bing there answer to Google. Gaining access to Yahoo’s audience would instantly more than triple Bing’s U.S. market share to 28 percent. That’s still a far cry from the remarkable 65 percent of U.S. searches handled by Google, according to the research firm comScore Inc.

For years most website owners have focused on Google and making sure that their website was quickly indexed on their site.

There are thousands of sites claiming they have figured out how to get your site on the coveted page one of Google there are many people who make a very good living by doing nothing more then explaining how Google works and how to increase your rating.

Competition among the major search engines could actually be both good and bad for the home based business owner. Advertising rates may come down as they begin to compete for business during a recession.

On the downside the Internet home business owner may have to learn a new method of promoting their sites to get a higher ranking on Bing.

It will be several months before the partnership is finalized so hopefully there will be more information to help the home based business get indexed on Bing

Microsoft Bing would be the closet competitor of Google. but i still use Google because it shows more relevant results on the serp.
