A Internet Home Business Is Not A Get Rich Quick Program
If you are thinking of starting a Internet home business you should be thinking of it as a long term investment not a way to make fast money.
It has been said that 95% of all Internet home businesses fail. Unfortunately, the main reason for this is that the vast majority of people new to Internet marketing believe they will make a large amount of money in a very short period of time. They then spend as much money as possible in the hope that their big payday is just around the corner.
Most people who are looking to make money with a home based business do so because they need a source of extra income and think that the Internet will be an easy source. While it is true that people make a healthy income working from home these people have usually been at it for years and know the proper way to market on the web.
Having a successful Internet home business takes time. Regardless of how great your product ,if you have no traffic to your website you won’t make a dime.
Think of your home based business as a long term investment and spend as little as possible on it at first. This could mean that you only market one affiliate program at first. However, as you learn to market your business your traffic to your website will increase and the sales will come.
Concentrate on the basics and find the best Internet home based training available and over time your investment will pay off.

Hi John
What you say here is so true. Unfortunately a lot of people think that all it requires is to get a website set up, add some affiliate programs and the business will just pour in. In truth it takes a lot of hard and dedicated work to become a success and one needs to learn how to market on the web. I enjoyed your post, thank you.

Hi John,
What you pointed out is so true. It is a process. Actually it is quite a Loooooooooong process. A process that requires investments in time, money, effort, and teachability. This post was actually encouraging to me. Thanks.
