Use News Organizations To Get Quality Backlinks To Your Website

Finding high quality banklinks to your website can be time consuming. As I’ve mentioned before getting links with a high page rank is one of the most important aspects of success with a Internet home business.

While newspapers struggle with declining revenues and fewer readers most of the top papers have websites with a high page rank. Getting a link from one of these sites to your website is actually quite easy and can be extremely beneficial to your page rank in the long run.

There is a service  named Pluck that provides web hosting to some of the top companies. What makes the service they offer so attractive to the major companies is the quality of the sites they design which allows a visitor to register on the site leave comments on the articles and also have a free blog.

Many of the companies that use there service are news organizations and having a blog hosted by a major newspaper with a high page rank can be very valuable.

Once you register on a particular site you able to create a blog and each blog can have up to 10 links in its blog roll. That’s up to 10 backlinks from a news organization with a high page rank.

Here are a few examples of blogs I created in less then a hour.

USA Today- Page Rank 8

The Anchorage Daily News- Page Rank 7

The Miami Herald - Page Rank 7

The Sacramento Bee- Page Rank 7

All of these are simple blogs and all I did was simply copy an older post from my blog and changed a few of the links so that they pointed to my site and gained another link.

These are just a few of the sites that will allow you to create a free blog and get a high quality backlink in the process. With a little searching you can find dozens of sites that will allow this.

Next I will  cover Social Media Networks and how to gain quality backlinks by simply creating a profile.

    Hey John,

Don’t forget citizen journalism sites that let you write your own articles.

Some, like the Third Report (http://www.thirdreport.com), will allow promotional material and followable backlinks in local news articles… so long as the article’s focus is on a newsworthy event, like the business’ participation in a local charity event.
